Happy Halloween!

Elder Loveless and Elder Clifton
This last week was really good!

I started out by doing the attribute activity in preach my gospel, and I knew I needed to study charity. As I came across the scripture of Moroni 7: 48... Pray unto the Father with all the energy of heart that ye may be filled with this love... I have prayed for charity before and I was contemplating on what to pray for charity this time. I decided to pray for charity for my Heavenly Father and my Savior. It has changed me. I have come to know his love more and more and to see his hand in every aspect of missionary work, and life. One of which was this:

Elder Loveless' Charlie Brown Christmas Tree
We went to a mans house we had planned for. As we got there, I had the worst feeling that we had to leave the area. As we did, we felt prompted to go to two former investigators. We went over to their house and we shared the plan of salvation with them! They decided to investigate again. It was so amazing to see how I have seen the promise that our Father has given to each of us through His son knowing that his hand is constantly stretched over us.

We are having a lot of fun here especially with it being fall time! I have loved my stay while here in Indiana, and I know I will continue to stay here as long as my father in heaven would have me stay. I truly am blessed to have the most amazing family and friends in my life.

I was also reading in Alma 5 and decided to write down ever question he asked... It is the ultimate interview chapter! I love it! try it out!!! Its fun :)

Love you all,

Elder Loveless

:) Great Week

Elder Loveless and Elder Clifton getting some new ties.
This week was so amazing :) but also hard!

We have been getting anti-ed quite a bit, and things yelled at us and yea .... it’s been weird, more than usual. But I am reminded of a scripture in Acts 5: 41-42, " And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name...and daily in the temple, in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ."  I am so grateful to be considered even remotely worthy to suffer for His name! I love being able to live for my savior. I know He lives. So many experiences this last week have testified of that truth.

I have been praying to feel of the Atonement more in my life and how to see it more. As I was receiving a blessing I was had a special promise, and it meant a lot...When I received the promise, I felt the spirit whisper to me...this is the atonement. I couldn't help but cry feeling the atonement. I can’t describe what it means and feels to me. I may never be able to describe this priceless gift to all, but I know it’s true. I feel it, I see it, and I feel it now. My savior lives and loves us all, because of his great love I will see my lost brothers, my uncles and grandparents, and live with all the people that I love and hold dear. It is because of his love that I can live each day! And know where to go! I will forever thank my father and pour out my heart to him for allowing his beloved son to suffer for me and all. How is this gospel not true? It is!

I had a cool experience this last week, as we were in a members home going to teach them the restoration, beforehand I was asked by my companion, "don't they already know it?" I told him, "I don't know it enough, and we all need its spirit." as we were testifying of Joseph Smith, the father began to cry along with myself and my companion. He told us he loves hearing that message because it makes him want to share the gospel more and he feels his father’s love! How special is our message! I love being a missionary! So grateful I can be one my entire life!

Love you all so very much.

Love,
Elder Loveless!

:) Elllo every one!

Elder Clifton and Elder Loveless
So I am training Elder Clifton from Orem Utah ... (didn't need to say Utah everyone knows where Orem is).

Elder Clifton, Elder Loveless and Elder Eller with his new companion
He is awesome! We have a lot of fun together! Training is really fun but also it is hard and exhausting! You really learn to rely on the Lord more and more every day as a missionary! I regret not relying on him more and turning to him when times were Hard. I learned a lot when finishing up Helaman how the people only turn to the Lord when times are hard, I know that I have found myself doing that, but I realize I need to rely on him constantly! I have put so many sticky notes around my desk and wall that when I read them I can think of my savior and come to love him more! I truly love my Savior for his love and sacrifice. :)

The work is progressing very well, I love it here! I truly do love Indiana, and someday I will serve in the other parts of HIS vineyard. I loved the lesson about the plan of salvation, when Adam and Eve fell, they weren't able to see and be with God, he still showed an immense amount of love to them and still reached down to pick them up when they "fell" by sending angels, speaking to them. We are too, like Adam and Eve. WE all fall, but we all are being picked up by our dear Father and Savior, we just have to let them pick us up and reach out to them! I love you all so very much! Love serving here :)

Oi

So crazy thing happened last night...Got a call from President saying, “Elder Eller, Elder Loveless...you have been here long enough and haven't left yet. Elder Eller you will be leaving and training, Elder Loveless you will stay and be training."
So crazy...I was blessed to train up in Niles for a while never thought it would come again. I feel so blessed to have the trust from my Father in Heaven to train in this outstanding work! I pray it is a visa waiter :) but I will do what the Lord will have me do. Our visas will come in his time... His time is definitely not our time...Its long...ha-ha Love it!!!

So a lot of cool experiences, I will be quick! We got permission from President Cleveland to go to Hoosier Hysteria at I U for their huge pep rally...4 of us elders were on the big screen twice all in our I U HOOOSIER gear! it was so cool! we caught a shirt that we are going to give to president! It was sweet!

We also had a cool experience this morning... an Asian man we have talked to that I gave a Book of Mormon to came up to me and said, "I love this book you gave me, and I want to send it to my friends in Asia. Can I have two more? And will you put your names in it??" It was so cool! The Book of Mormon is true! It changes lives, and its power to convert with the power of the spirit is so amazing and it is the power of God. Love this gospel.

Man I loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooved Conference! So cool! I loved how President Monson said that this was the most inspiring conference! That Man of God has been to many and this was the most inspiring. WE all have a lot to take from it and if the Prophet was inspired I pray we all will do as he does :)

Elder Dube was so cool! I loved how he said, “Never look back. Look at what we still have to do...we all need to be equally yoked in the hastening of the work...the Lord is leading us." How profound! That was so amazing. We all have done a lot of work. Those who have served missions have done a lot of work but must look forward and see all the lives they can still bless! It greatly affected me! I know I must look forward to the work He needs me to do! I want to be a part of that present that Elder Ballard said we can all give to the Savior. He has given me all that I have...my family, friends, and His love. I can’t wait to continually share his gospel and do my best to GIVE to HIM. I love my father in heaven I am grateful for his "stewards that oversee the household of God here on earth." (PMG) I know that he was speaking to us this weekend. I know that they love us, and we can show our love to them and please them by keeping the commandments. One of which is to preach the gospel! I love my Savior for His love to me. As His imperfect missionary, I know He loves me, and that is what keeps me going!

Love you all so much!

:) Oh how sweet

I have seen so many blessings this past week...(well not the satan spider that tried to kill Elder Eller and I...it took us 10 minutes or so to get the nerves to suck it up with the vacuum...brazil will be scary...I’m glad I will have a wife one day and daughters to kill the spiders for my sons and I...)

So to the blessings, one of which was a priesthood blessing. I have been getting a ton of bug bites randomly and they spread and get huge and itch like crazy…(I’m ok mom :) ) so I was receiving a blessing for that from Elder Eller. We weren't even talking about Brazil or anything and then he paused for a while and said these words, "Our Father in Heaven wants you to know your time left in Indiana is short. Share your testimony of the truthfulness of this work to all who are willing to listen." It was such an amazing blessing. I know my visa will come in his time. I have learned just as the apostle Paul did to be content in whatever situation the Lord puts you in.

I love the scripture in John 9: 5 "as long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world." I can’t see the light and the end of the tunnel for when my visa will come, but I know where I can find my light and that is enough for me to see. I love my Savior with all my heart! He lives, as I have strived to do the promise in PMG that the more we study about the atonement of our Savior the stronger the desire we will have to share the gospel! How true is that! He lives...Why should I not share that!

We also had such an amazing lesson with a member family about the priesthood but we put a different approach on it on how the women in our lives bless us as priesthood holders. I will tell you I am sad to hear about the women protesting to have the priesthood. How sad. Their calling is so much more amazing than ours as priesthood holders. I do not know where I would be without the women in my live. They have given me a reason to live worthy of my priesthood and a reason to strive for the better. I would not be on a mission right now without the women that have so tenderly loved me and helped me be worthy!

Love you all with all my heart!

:) Sweet Week!

Elder Loveless and Elder Eller with President and Sister Cleveland

So much has happened :) So Heather is committed to baptism on the 9th of November :) and Eric is working towards it :) I want to relay an experience I had last week.

I was kneeling down in prayer and was feeling prompted to pray for Heather, and I didn't know why...I then wake up at 620 to see this text..."I found myself not being able to sleep for 3 hours. But I was woken suddenly. I felt a sense of power and urge to read a certain area in the Book of Mormon. Moroni spoke to me, I was looking through the names of the books and a very strong urge in my heart and mind told me to read the last book. I read the very last chapter, suddenly I started to cry and prayed to God. "Tell me this is true, Please God." I felt a warm feeling around me like someone was there holding me, comforting me. I let the feeling go on. I wasn't afraid. I believe I was touched and reassured by the Lord...I am overjoyed, I never have felt anything like this before. I know this is where I belong. He is my light and I will forever praise him."

This gospel is so amazing! This gospel produces miracles for the faithful and willing heart! I know that the Book of Mormon is true that it is the word of God. I know He lives just as Heather does for I to have felt that love and comfort of my Father! We are a blessed people!

Elder Loveless with Elder Buck and Elder Mathias at a Zone Conference
We have been anti-ed a ton this past week but it reassures me that God lives. For he loves us and is not willing to allow us to be succumbed by this evil when we are striving to work towards him! He lives! I know that with all my heart! He has comforted me in many times of need and even when I have felt overwhelmed just as the sons of Mosiah...this gospel is so amazing! I love my Savior for I know He suffered for us all! And I love the scripture in John 5: 20. Everything our Savior does, our Father has showed Him and has done Himself. It makes me think of the home...our parents teach us the way of the Lord...it is coming to the point where the Home HAS to be the MTC. I will forever be thankful for my parents making my home a MTC so that I would be ready for the work of the Lord. Love you mom and dad with all my heart! We are so lucky to have earthly parents, but more blessed than ever to have Heavenly parents and a brother to show us the way!

Love you all,

Elder Loveless

YEEEEEEAA

This last week was sooooooooooo good! So you know how I told you we had prayed for a referral and we received one??? Well we went and contacted Heather last Tuesday, she told us she was interested because she loved David Archuleta and admired the light about him and wanted to know more about Mormonism. She said she had been praying for the right church and this is the only one that sounded right. The spirit was so strong, I felt it direct me to say, “Heather, I promise you in the name of Jesus Christ that you have found that very church. This is what our Father wants for you, and I know with all my heart you will find so much peace and happiness within it." It was such an amazing lesson! Tracting for 5 straight hours 3 days in a row with 95 degree weather and humidity was so worth every bit to receive a text like this saying,

"Hey this is Heather who you met with today at 4. I just really want to thank you both so much for the guidance and support you showed me today. There is nothing more I want than to be closer and fully connected with God. As I mentioned I have always believed, but there was always something missing, I really have been blessed in becoming to know religion. I may not know much yet but I feel this sense of peace in my soul. And happiness when I read about it like never before. I guess the reason I was so influenced by David Archuleta was his smile. It had a sense of joy, you could just tell within it that he had the Lord in him. He is blessed and I believe that is because he is on that exact path God wants us to all be on. If it wasn't for him I probably never would have known this religion and I feel the way I do now. And if it wasn't for you guys, I wouldn't have known the truth either. I look forward to learning more, and to see you both again Friday. Thank you for helping me find the Lord within the true Gospel. I could not be any happier than I am now, and my biggest thanks goes to you both."

That is what this work is about, and I testify that we all can have these experiences. I add my testimony to Heather’s that this gospel is what brings us the true joy in this life. This is His work and the work is coming to the end! We must do all we can to help all we come in contact with. I know my Father answers my prayers, because we needed heather more than she needs us.

One last thing, recent events this last week made me come across a quote from Elder Scott. "Father in Heaven saved His greatest, most splendid creation, Woman, for the End...only then was the work pronounced complete." I am so grateful for the women in my life! This church would not be where it is if it wasn't for the women in our lives. May we all truly love and cherish the sweet women that are in our lives!
Sorry this is so long,
Love you all, I know this is true,
